A lot of people living now in North America have personal experience with one form or another of dictatorship. With one form or another of tyranny (see above for an à la Carte definition). Some have come here from Eastern Europe and had lived for decades in Communism. Others have come here from South Africa, where they had experienced Apartheid (see above for its à la Carte definition). There are still some survivors from the WWII, from Germany, Spain, Italy or Hungary. They all have lived under Fascism (finally, see above for its à la Carte definition). And the list can go on.

Through the game of Absolutism, we hope to give to the people who have forgotten and to the people who haven’t experienced yet a totalitarian regime, a little taste of tyranny. A glimpse into what your freedom, prosperity and your life as you know it can turn into.

Absolutism will offer you this experience so that you won’t have to go through it in real life. And as it is always the situation with bad circumstances, you better take it with a bitter cocktail and lots of humor. Because humor is the only thing that helps us survive hardship.
