Vali and I have been working 24 hours a day (yes, we do have 30 hours a day here, in Toronto) to conceive, design and develop a new party card game. We call it Absolutism.
Not only that, but together with Emanuel, our production manager, and social media specialist, we have put together an online home for Absolutism. It is also the home of our new game enterprise—GAMES FOR ALIENS. (Now you can see me with both my arms raised above my head and walking like a champion. I’m still waiting for the pat on my shoulder and the words: “Good Job! Good Job!”).
I always had ideas for games but, like any creative projects, unless you have the courage to actually start working on the idea, nothing materializes. I thought, it’s not my field, what do I know, and I postponed. Then life kicked us forward and we finally just did it. No questions, no more procrastination, just action.
And all my ideas came back alive and Vali added hers to mine and it was a bit overwhelming for a start-up. Vali and I stayed awake every night for a week. We began working on one idea that proved to be a monster of a game for our first try. So we chose another for our first game. And we went on writing, designing, writing again, drawing, until we had over 400 cards and a clear concept of what we wanted. Despite the lack of sleep, we felt exhilarated and excited—we had something.
For now, we’re preparing the campaign for the crowdfunding platform. When we have decided which one, we’ll let you know and give you the link. We’ll post updates and we hope you’ll help us make Absolutism a reality.
Until then, we’ll be grateful if you can subscribe to our email list, so our updates will get to you directly and safely. So you’ll know when it will start and where.
We are GAMES FOR ALIENS. We design FUNNY GAMES FOR COSMIC BRAINS.
We can keep you updated with not only our crowdfunding campaign for Absolutism but also with the progress on our next game—a board game we call Carami (yes, you read it right. That Carami.).
Costi you weird guy,
Good on ya! I knew you and Vali were both aliens, I just didn’t know how alien. So will this be The Game of Groans?
I can hardly wait.
Welcome, Brad! I’m so happy you found us!
We thought The Game of Moans, but Groans works as well. 🙂
